This course is the third and final of our core program and successful completion of Part I and Part II are prerequisites. Students should expect assignments, papers on painting analysis and some required readings. Students completing a Part III Seminar course will earn a Certificate of Completion from the Foundation. This course is designed to strengthen students’ understanding of the objective method for art appreciation. Held in various locations, the classes will explore specific artists and/or concepts in-depth. Successful completion of Part I and Part II are prerequisites for this course. In Seminar, the instructor is a guide, and the students will participate in class discussion, prepare and present talks, and engage in personal and group projects that encourage mastery of objective analysis. Seminar is intended for those students interested in the rewards of a richer understanding of the objective method only possible through individual concentrated use and practice.
Students completing Part I, Part II and one Seminar course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
