How can a viewer begin to understand and discuss works of art? This course introduces participants to an objective approach to appreciate the art in art, as well as in everyday experiences. Learn why artists capture our imagination decades or even centuries after their work was created. Learn the meaning of an aesthetic experience. This course introduces participants to the objective method for the appreciation of art and allows students to undertake personal and independent analyses of works of art.
Please be aware that repeated absences from this course may preclude you from successfully meeting the requirements to move onto the next level in our programming. Students completing Part I, Part II and one Seminar course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
