Learn the Language of Art
Informed Perception introduces students to the concepts and application of the objective method of art analysis through direct engagement with the arts. Offered at premium locations and/or for college credit, these fourteen week classes provide highly motivated students the opportunity to challenge themselves through a rigorous emersion in our objective approach to the arts. These classes meet for weekly  three hour sessions over fourteen weeks. While there are no prerequisites for this course, students should expect a dynamic and rigorous learning experience including required readings, written assignments, and papers.

This course is designed to be the first of three courses under our Certificate Program.  Students who successfully complete Part I: Informed Perception, Part II: Traditions and one Part III: Seminar courses,  are eligible  to earn the de Mazia Certificate of Completion.
