Art through Time
In Part II: The Traditions, the knowledge and skills learned in Part I: Informed Perception are applied to art as it has developed through history. The Traditions typically meets for three hours once a week for fourteen weeks. Successful completion of Informed Perception is a prerequisite for this course and students should expect a dynamic yet rigorous learning experience involving written assignments, papers, and required readings.

Part I: Informed Perception, Part II: Traditions in the Arts, and Part III: Seminar are designed to be taken consecutively under the de Mazia Certificate Program.
