Van Gogh's Decorative Design (SE/S12)

This course illuminates Vincent van Gogh’s aesthetic achievement and objectively determines his rank as an artist.

The classes include class discussion, independent work, and guided discovery.

Using the Philadelphia Museum of Art exhibit Van Gogh Up Close as its focus, the course will review van Gogh’s pictures as evidence of the direction his development took.


Tuition includes ticket to the PMA to see Van Gogh Up Close on Saturday, April 21, 10 a.m. and unlimited access to Artstor.org for the duration of the course.
