The Violette de Mazia Foundation has developed an 'In-Service Arts Training Program' intended to help art faculty weave the objective approach to art appreciation into their arts curriculum.

Class sessions are designed around the school districts in-service schedule, already in place.  Working within this timeframe, educators are taught the major concepts of our approach and are then asked to prepare a lesson plan based on the concept.  By the end of the program, groups will have developed a curriculum for teaching aesthetic education units to students across their school districts.  This program becomes an efficient and effective route to expanding aesthetic education to schoolchildren who would not otherwise have exposure to learning visual language skills, and provides long-range expanded course programming for school districts in the under-emphasized area of aesthetic appreciation.
