Violette de Mazia Foundation
The Violette de Mazia's University Courses reinterpret Violette de Mazia's approaches and methods from 1920 to 1980 (at the time she was a teacher and Director of Art Education at The Barnes Foundation) for 21st century college students. In lively classroom discussions and presentations, students learn an objective method for determining what art is, as well as what art is not, that enables them to appreciate aesthetic quality wherever they encounter it; all while earning graduate or undergraduate credit.
