Membership Policy
 

The Violette de Mazia Foundation teaches creative understanding. We are an arts education institution sponsoring programs and activities that teach an objective approach to aesthetic appreciation. The Foundation is based on the belief that education is a lifelong activity of growth, development, and change; that life and art are inextricably linked; and that enriching this aspect of our lives is a prerequisite to a cultured society.

Since its establishment, the Violette de Mazia Foundation has enrolled students from all walks of life: from academics and senior citizens, to school students and prison inmates. Class instructors have extensive experience working with all age groups. The ideas and theories of this approach center on aesthetic understanding for everyone, regardless of academic or social standing.

As we expand our programs into art deprived public schools throughout the region, we need the support of generous contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies to fulfill our important mission of art education. Tax-deductible donations provide direct support for art classes, workshops, lectures and outreach programs for underserved communities, and help us reach more deserving students each year.

The Violette de Mazia Foundation is committed to building community through the arts and offers unique programs that engage and inspire students of all ages and abilities. Our programs touch a diverse community from across the greater Philadelphia region. However, tuition alone does not fully cover the organization's operating costs. We need your support!
